The LPT is a modular and flexible alternative to the high-quality industrial CRT replacement displays, which are also offered by TL Electronic.

Any RGB signal - no matter if TTL, analogue or interlaced - can be processed in any resolution by this univeral scan converter.
Available singal inputs for horizontal frequencies in the range of 15 - 80 kHz are 5 BNC sockets and one VGA socket which accepts analogue as well as TTL signals.
The LPT converts the input signal into a brilliant, steady standard DVI-D signal which can be easily displayed with each end device provided with a DVI-D input. It does not make any difference if it is a high class industrial display, a consumer TFT monitor, an LCD projector, a 42" flatscreen or any other hardware. The LPT allows much more and easier solutions for e.g. replacing defective industrial CRT monitors in out-dated control systems.

The DVI-D output signals can be scaled as desired to match the terminal equipment used. Despite the usually low input frequencies a flicker-free and crystal-clear image is provided .
The Legacy Pixel Transformer provides over 60 preset common timings from the range of the so-called slow scan signals (15 – 40 kHz).
Unknown signals are automatically analysed and displayed and can be aditionally adjusted manually by using various on-screen setting options. The new timings are automatically recorded together with the settings. They are recalled automatically when the device is connected again.

The compact device (294 × 165 × 58 mm) has a very robust coated metal housing and has a weight of only 2 kg. Its maximum power consumption is 20 W.
