We integrate our Basic WM industrial displays into a slim and very rugged protective housing.
Thus we obtain a protection class complying with the stringent IP65 standard („Ingress Protection“) according to DIN EN 60529.
The IP code „Ingress Protection“

Advantages of the protective housing
The LCD is not only protected against ingress of dust, dirt and water. Due to the complete enclosre with a robust protective housing a very high degree of mechanical protection is achieved. The rugged aluminium profiles of the housing effectively prevent the LCD from physical damage.
The power supply unit is integrated into the housing. The air space between LCD and housing compensates for the missing ventilation slots. No overheating does occurs.
All connections of the Basic WM displays are also safely located inside. The cables are lead through at the bottom (or optionally at the top) via a sealed coupler.

Up to a size of 15" we enclose your Basic WM display with a high-grade steel housing on request.
The high-quality housing is very even and has only minimum projecting edges or gaps.
