4. Panel PC displays

Panel PCs are available with or without a keyboard front. If you choose a touchscreen, you can choose between a touchscreen for 1-finger operation or a projected capacitive multi-touch screen (PCAP). PCAP Touch enables the controller to recognize several points of contact simultaneously (Multi Touch). Compared to other touch technologies, a PCAP screen is more resistant to dirt or liquids and easy to clean due to the smooth, seamless surface. It also offers high transparency and visibility and is also ideal for outdoor use.

7. Robustness and maintenance for panel PCs
Industrial environments are often harsh - that's why panel PCs have to be equipped to withstand vibrations, shock, shocks, environmental influences, temperature fluctuations, dust, moisture, water or chemicals. The so-called IP codes define the penetration of foreign bodies and water. For example, IP65 means "dustproof and protected against water jets from any angle". IP67 means "dustproof and protected against temporary immersion". The highest protection class IP69K is required for difficult environmental conditions with high hygiene requirements. IP69K means "dustproof, protection against water ingress during high pressure / steam jet cleaning and protection against high temperatures (hot water)".
The low-maintenance and easily accessible design and construction of the panel PC is also important. So that downtimes can be reduced to a minimum.
